Hackathon | Design Thinking | Banking Experience

On Friday 17th June, five IBMers met for the first time in Edinburgh to participate in the Royal Bank of Scotland’s (RBS) Hackathon. Little did we know that in two days’ time, our solution would be crowned 1st place and it would be the catalyst of a new movement for IBM innovation!

The Hackathon was an amazing event organised by the Bank of APIs team! It was an brilliant example of how bringing a multi-disciplinary group together and adding a bit of Design Thinking magic produces some really innovative results… in under 48 hours!
